William Hill Launches Mobile Sportsbook in Indiana
William Hill announced that it would launch its mobile sportsbook in Indiana. Players in the state can access the sports betting app and website if they are within state borders. The app and website offer several markets and betting options, including live in-game betting, live scoring game casts, and various withdrawal and deposit options.
The sportsbook operator offers mobile betting in seven states: Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, West Virginia, Nevada, and Illinois. It also provides power trading services via the Rhode Island Lottery app.
William Hill already has a presence in Indiana for several years. They have a retail sportsbook through a partnership with Tropicana Casino. The company also has an existing partnership with Eldorado Resorts. Thus, William Hill is the casino’s exclusive partner for its online gaming and land-based and online sports betting.
Mobile Sportsbook in Indiana
According to bookie pay per head news, Eldorado acquired Tropicana Entertainment for $1.85 billion. Thus, it allowed William Hill to offer sports betting in the Indiana casino right away. The mobile betting launch in Indiana marks the latest phase of William Hill’s venture into the US sports betting industry.
Eldorado’s acquisition of Caesars Entertainment in July allowed William Hill to venture into the US sports betting industry. Based on the bookie PPH sources, William Hill had an existing agreement with Eldorado that extended to Caesars Entertainment properties. Thus, the sportsbook operator opened two sports wagering facilities at two Caesars Entertainment properties in Iowa.
The sportsbook at the Horseshoe has five ticket windows and four kiosks. Also, William Hilliam opened a retail sportsbook at the Harrah’s property in Council Bluffs. It has two booths.
According to a political forum, William Hill ventured into the Pennsylvania market by opening retail sports betting facility at Harrah’s Philadelphia. It was the result of its extended Caesars Entertainment partnership.
