Following a long and winding debate plus additional amendments between them, the Republican-controlled state House and Senate have approved Senate Bill 90
on the night before of Florida's final day of the legislative session.
The bill will create restrictions like having new ID as well as signature requirements for voting through mail, limiting who can return a mail-in ballot, and expanding partisan observation powers during the ballot tabulation. Restrictions on drop off ballots will be added as well. The Governor has said that he will be signing this bill, so its as good as done.
